Over de functie

As a Utility Electrician, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical installations in utility buildings, including offices, schools, hospitals, and other large facilities.

You will work on a variety of installations, such as lighting, security, climate control, and power systems, ensuring these systems operate safely and efficiently.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Install and connect electrical installations according to technical specifications.
Perform maintenance work and troubleshoot issues.
Test and commission electrical systems.
Work on and improve lighting, security, fire alarm, and power systems.
Read technical drawings and diagrams and perform tasks according to guidelines.
Collaborate with colleagues and project managers to complete projects within set timeframes and quality standards.
Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to safety and quality regulations.

Profiel

Minimum MBO level 3 or 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with electrical installations in the utility sector.
Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations (such as NEN 3140).
Experience in reading technical drawings and diagrams.
Independent, precise, and solution-oriented.
Holder of a VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Category B driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project locations.
