Catering Assistant – Delta II, Rotterdam

For our Delta II location in the Maasvlakte, Rotterdam, we’re looking for a Hospitality Team Member to join our team!

What will you be doing?

As a Hospitality Team Member, you’ll take care of the daily food and beverage service for all visitors of the Delta II restaurant. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that dishes are prepared and served on time and that the restaurant is left clean and ready for the next day. Hospitality is at the heart of everything you do!

Your responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests and treating them to delicious food and drinks
• Handling cash register tasks
• Adapting flexibly to the flow of the day
• Supporting banqueting activities (e.g. meetings, receptions, gatherings)
• Leaving the location tidy and well-organized for the next day

What you bring:

• A passion for food, drinks and hospitality
• Experience in hospitality or another service-oriented role (a plus)
• Team spirit and a strong sense of responsibility
• Good communication skills
• Your own transportation — the location isn’t reachable by public transport

What’s on our menu for you:

• A gross hourly wage from €15.52 (excl. holiday allowance)
• A 30-hour contract spread over 5 days
• Variable shifts in a semi-continuous schedule: morning, evening and weekend shifts (no night shifts), Monday through Sunday
• Travel allowance and holiday bonus for working on public holidays
• 25 vacation days (based on a 38-hour workweek) plus 8% holiday allowance
